My Own Summer

I sat here at the same spot this very moment last year. There were like ten of us then, this time around, it’s only me. It’s weird how people come and go in my life, and yet leaves me with big impact – every single one of them.

The start of my academic year back in September, I had so many plans ahead. So many happy thoughts that made me look forward to get the year over with. Now that it’s all said and done, I haven’t seen any accomplishments just yet. I am still me. Happy thoughts all end up being jack shit really.

My own summer starts today, even the sun is not shining…..and they keep saying summer is where it all begins. Bring the pain.
